Bateman Horne Center was chosen as the March recipient from the Utah Jazz and Mountain America Credit Union’s “Pass it Along” program to the tune of $5,000! “Pass It Along,” a joint community development program features a fan-nomination process that rewards five local charitable organizations with $5,000 each. BHC was chosen as the fifth and final recipient of the 2018 season.

“Our entire team at Bateman Horne Center wishes to sincerely thank the Utah Jazz and Mountain America Credit Union organizations for this meaningful and important gift,” said Rob Ence, Executive Director of Bateman Horne Center. “We appreciate the faith and support of those who were part of the selection process and will apply these resources effectively in our cutting edge research and clinical care with the quest of improving the lives of those with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia (ME/CFS FM). In addition to the $5,000 donation, Bateman Horne Center received a visit from Mountain America Credit Union Executive Vice President Marshall Paepke along with tickets to the March 5, 2018 game. BHC offered these tickets to patients and hard-working clinical and research staff.

Bateman Horne Center appreciates this contribution and the opporunity to bring awareness to those who suffer from ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia. We envision a world where patients with ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia are readily diagnosed, effectively treated, and widely met with empathy and understanding.
