cfsacThe Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Advisory Committee (CFSAC) provides advice and recommendations to the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) through the Assistant Secretary for Health on issues related to myalgic encephalomyelitis and chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). Administrative and management support for CFSAC is provided by the HHS Office on Women’s Health in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH). Patient and other stakeholder participation is encouraged and sought.

After each meeting, the CFSAC votes on and sends recommendations to the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Assistant Secretary for Health. You can review past recommendations HERE, and learn more about the CFSAC and why it was started HERE.

The first CFSAC Meeting of 2017 is Scheduled for January 12, 2017, 12:00PM – 5:00PM and January 13, 2017, 9:00AM -5:00PM Eastern Time.
