Chandler McDonald, PT, DPT, CSCS
Chandler McDonald is a residency-trained cardiopulmonary physical therapist, exercise physiologist, and the founder of Utah Physiology, PLLC. Through his practice, he specializes in administering two-day Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) to objectively measure post-exertional malaise (PEM) and provide comprehensive disability evaluations for individuals with ME/CFS and Long COVID.
In his clinical practice at the University of Utah’s Long COVID Clinic, Chandler provides specialized and personalized rehabilitation, conducts clinical research, and administers CPET for ongoing trials. He also serves as an adjunct instructor for the Doctor of Physical Therapy programs at Baylor University and the University of Utah. He holds multiple certifications in clinical exercise science and is deeply committed to advancing applied clinical exercise physiology and interventional research in PASC and ME/CFS.
Lucinda Bateman, MD, is a renowned clinician, researcher, and educator. Her Johns Hopkins University Medical School training instilled an approach to care that she has employed throughout her career – the patient comes first and the unknown or unexplained does not equate to a lack of proper and compassionate care. Since starting her own practice in 2000, she has served on six boards or committees, been the principal investigator for 45 studies, authored/coauthored 40 journal articles, served as adjunct instructor and adjunct assistant professor in the University of Utah Departments of Preventative Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Anesthesiology, and lectured around the world.
