The Bateman Horne Center (BHC) serves individuals seeking diagnosis and treatment, as well as conducts research related to ME/CFS and FM. As one of the few integrative centers that fuses clinical care and research, BHC is committed to improving the quality of life for patients with these poorly understood illnesses.
Dr. Lucinda Bateman is nationally recognized as one of the most knowledgeable clinical experts in ME/CFS. Along with our staff of providers, she specializes in the comprehensive and compassionate diagnosis and treatment of those with ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia. She often creates free tools and resources to help those battling ME/CFS and FM that she is unable to treat personally; they are housed HERE.
Suzanne D. Vernon, PhD, Research Liaison for the Bateman Horne Center, has dedicated much of her life to harnessing the scientific know-how and cutting edge technology to the diagnosis and treatment of ME/CFS. Her body of work has resulted in more than 85 published papers, brought numerous new researchers into the field, and launched several new areas of study for ME/CFS.
